DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVE GRANT

Dated:
Between
The United States of America,
acting through the United States
Agency for International
Development ("USAID")
and
The Republic of Colombia,
(hereinafter referred
to
together as
the "Grantee")
Article 1: Purpose.
The purpose of this Development Objective
Grant Agreement ("Agreement")
is
to
set
out the understanding of USAID and the
Grantee (hereinafter the "Parties") about
the four Development Objectives described
below. This Agreement
is
designed within
the context of USAID's 2014-2018 Country
Development Cooperation Strategy for the
Republic of Colombia and within the context
of the overarching goal of that Strategy, as
titled: "Colombia more capable of
successfully implementing a sustainable
and inclusive peace." This Agreement
serves as a funding mechanism to ensure
the continued implementation of the
Development Objectives of USAID
in
the
Republic of Colombia. The Agreement
is
signed
in
observance of, and
in
compliance
with, the terms and conditions of the
General Agreement tor Economic,
Technical and Related Assistance between
the United States of America and Colombia,
dated July 23, 1962.
Article 2:
Results. Development Objective and
Section 2.1. Development
Objectives. The Development Objectives
("DOs" or "Objective") are:

Los Estados Unidos de América,
actuando a través de la Agencia de
los Estados Unidos para
el
Desarrollo Internacional ("USAID")
y
La
República de Colombia, (en
adelante referido como
el
"Donatario")
Artículo 1: Propósito.
El
propósito de este Acuerdo de Donación
de Objetivos de Desarrollo ("Acuerdo") es
establecer
el
entendimiento de USAID y del
donatario
(en
adelante las "Partes") acerca
de cuatro Objetivos de Desarrollo descritos
más abajo. Este Acuerdo está diseñado
dentro del contexto de
la
Estrategia de
Cooperación Para
el
Desarrollo del País de
USAID 2014-2018 para
la
República de
Colombia y dentro del contexto del objetivo
general de dicha Estrategia, titulado:
"Colombia más capaz de implementar con
éxito una paz sostenible e incluyente." Este
Acuerdo sirve como mecanismo de
financiación para asegurar
la
continua
ejecución de los Objetivos de Desarrollo de
USAID en
la
República de Colombia. Este
Acuerdo se suscribe en desarrollo de y
conformidad con los términos y condiciones
del Convenio General para Asistencia
Económica, Técnica, y Afines entre los
Estados Unidos de América y Colombia, de
fecha 23 de julio, 1962.
Artículo 2: Objetivos de Desarrollo y
Resultados.
Sección 2.1. Objetivos de
Desarrollo. Los Objetivos de Desarrollo
("DOs" o "Objetivos") son:
