7 Million Tourists Visited Kyrgyzstan in 2018

AKIPRESS.COM - 7 million tourists visited Kyrgyzstan in 2018, Deputy Director of the Tourism Department Chubak Omorov said at the seminar in Bishkek on Feb 6.

The tourism's share in the GDP in 2018 was 5%. Lack of roadside structures is the main problem of tourism, he said.

1057ARS 3 roadside structure construction project is currently under implementation by the Department and Transport Ministry. The project is financed by the World Bank in the amount of $3.5 million.
