500-meter deep cave in Osh region

The Tuz cave, which presumably belongs to the Stone Age, is under the threat of collapse in Kadamjai district of Batken region.

The cave is located at a distance of 1 km in the eastern part of Ak-Turpak village. The depth is about 100 meters, the exact length is unknown.

This cave is associated with the Sel-Unkuru cave, located at a distance of 60-70 km north of Aydarken, locals say. It is believed that a settlement was located in this place. The estimated time of the cave's appearance is 3,000-6,000 years BC.

Stone weapons and substances with salt content were found in the Tuz cave. There are also gemstones.

Residents say that citizens suffering from bronchial asthma and respiratory diseases come to the cave. They breathe in air saturated with salt particles...
