8 April 2016 (NAN) US Ambassador, Richard Jones, gave a speech at Cinemacity in Beirut Souks in support of the Ta3mal (Taamal) Employability Portal. Following is the Ambassador's word:

'Good Morning Minister Kazzi, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen. I am very pleased to join you today to demonstrate our support for the 'Ta3mal' portal, a leading initiative that represents a stepping stone for Lebanon's youth and is a testament of America's commitment to Lebanon's economic stability.

Youth is often synonymous with dreams, innovation, energy, and optimism.

Unfortunately, an inappropriate environment and a lack of employment opportunities in Lebanon are hindering members of its young generation from fulfilling their dreams. Unemployment is a growing problem among Lebanon's youth.
