Having regard to the above application lodged on 4 April 2014,

Having regard to the formal declarations accepting a friendly settlement of the case,

Having deliberated, decides as follows:


The applicant, Ms Goranka Ružić, is a Croatian national, who was born in 1963 and lives in Viškovo. She was represented before the Court by Mrs B. Paprić, a lawyer practising in Osijek.

The Croatian Government (“the Government”) were represented by their Agent, Ms Š. Stažnik.

The applicant complained under Article 6 § 1 of the Convention about the excessive length of civil proceedings.

On 2 February 2015 and 9 March 2015 the Court received friendly settlement declarations signed by the parties under which the applicant agreed to waive any further claims against Croatia in respect of the facts giving rise to this application against an undertaking by the Government to pay her 2,500 euros to cover any non-pecuniary damage as well as costs and expenses, which will be converted into Croatian kunas at the rate applicable on the date of payment, and will be free of any taxes that may be applicable.
