13. Role of employers' organisations

13.1. Promotion of safety and health

13.1.1. Employers' organisations should continue to develop and promote

awareness and expertise among their members in matters relating to the safety and

health and working conditions of workers using transferred technology.

13.1.2. This awareness should be developed through seminars, symposia, safety

campaigns and the establishment of training centres.

13.1.3. In this connection, congresses, conferences and symposia held by

employers' organisations should place greater emphasis on matters of safety and health

and working conditions.
