FORMAT OF THE FIFTY-FIRST REGULAR SESSION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY

(Adopted by the Permanent Council at its virtual regular meeting held on September 15, 2021)

THE PERMANENT COUNCIL OF THE ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES,

TAKING INTO ACCOUNT Articles 43 and 44 of the Rules of Procedure of the General Assembly relating to the holding of regular sessions of the General Assembly; and

CONSIDERING:

T., through resolution AG/RES. 2964 (L-O/20), the General Assembly accepted the offer of the Government of Guatemala to host the fifty-first regular session of the General Assembly;

T., through resolution CP/RES. 1172 (2319/21), the Permanent Council determined that the fifty-first regular session of the General Assembly would be held in person, from N. 10 to 12, 2021, in Guatemala City; and

T., owing to the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic, the member states and the General S. of the Organization of American States must keep...
