ADOPTION OF THE SUBPROGRAM DISTRIBUTION OF RESOURCES FOR 2021, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION AG/RES. 2957 (L-O/20) “PROGRAM-BUDGET OF THE ORGANIZATION FOR 2021”

THE PERMANENT COUNCIL OF THE ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES,

CONSIDERING:

That the General Assembly, at its fiftieth regular session held from October 20 to 21, 2020 in Washington, D.C., instructed the General Secretariat to present the Permanent Council with a draft subprogram distribution of resources based on the Chapter totals approved in resolution AG/RES. 2957 (L-O/20) “Program-Budget of the Organization for 2021”;

That, pursuant to Section I Numeral 3 and Section IV Numeral 12.d of resolution AG/RES. 2957 (L-O/20), the General Assembly instructed the General Secretariat to make such adjustments, reductions, and restructurings as may be needed to comply with the overall budget level and level of expenditure approved in resolution AG/RES. 2957 (L-O/20);

That the General Secretariat submitted the draft subprogram distribution of resources, which are contained in document CP/doc.5660/20 rev. 1;

That, in keeping with resolution AG/RES. 2957 (L-O/20), the draft subprogram distribution should be considered by the Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Affairs (CAAP) and submitted to the Permanent Council for approval no later than November 18, 2020; and
