habet, en lengua romance, quien comenzó tiene ya hecha la mitad de la
obra, nosotros tenemos la intención de avanzar, pasado un tiempo, en
este esfuerzo que hoy se cierra con este tomo II. Un empeño, el nuestro,
destinado, como hemos repetido, a conocer las aventuras y las desven-
turas de nuestros antepasados, el contexto histórico en el que pudieron
gozar y en el que tuvieron que pelear, así como los textos que salieron de
