Abstract
Solutions are to be applied to management of these serious problems not o nly
consist in the adoption of laws or rules of ceaseless work that researchers, scientists make a
discovery for new ways of countering the problem o f pollution, conservation Earth health but
is especially in our ability to be in solidarity with future generations in how each of us
believes that it should participate in conservation and preservation of natural resources.
Keywords: the environment protection, climatic changes, pollution, Earth
conservation, natural resources.
Introduction
Climate change, biodiversity, health, the use of resources and the establishment of
viable instruments regarding the protection of the environment against pollution by waste
have been and continue to be th e most critical challenges related to the environment, the
most important problems with which we confronted during the last decades and with which
we are confronting continuously.
Solutions which are and which will b e applied to manage these serious problems
do not only consist in the adoption of rules of law or of the contin uous work which
researchers, scientists put for discovery of new methods to counteract the phenomenon of
pollution, the preserva tion of Earth’s health, but they consist, in particular, in our ability to
be sympathetic with the future generations, in the way that each of us consider that it is
necessary to participate in the conservation and maintenance of th e natural resources.
It is necessary to embrace and apply concrete measures to avoid the irreversible
consequences of pollution, it is neces sary to establish a continuous b alance between
available resources and their exploitation.
I will de al here with this problem of wastes, because I consider that the wastes and
all tha t involves them, production, use, storage, transport, neutralizatio n, or disposal are a
maximum factor of toxicological and ecological ris k for the public health and the
environment.
Initially, in the category of wastes have been included materials of any kind
resulting from human activity, which can no longer be used in the process fro m which they
have derived. For the designation of t hat category of materials, the follo wing expressions
were used: residues, scraps, debris or wastes.
The effects of production, accumulation and destruction of wastes do not only
involve technical and economic aspects, but they mainly involve social aspects, both
internally and internationally.
