Justin Bell began his career as a nancial consultant serving client needs
involving security investments and estate planning within the states of Georgia,
Tennessee, and Alabama. ereafter, he transitioned into building high-end
residential homes and began a construction company in East Tennessee. With
the assistance of close friends and family, he was aorded an opportunity to apply
his skill-set in business to the construction industry. Even in a trying market,
his business prospered and this success provided him the ability to pursue an
education in the legal eld. In May of 2014, he obtained a degree of Doctor of
Jurisprudence and intends to serve the citizens of Tennessee and practice in the
elds of construction and criminal law.
Alex Bernick is the Editor-in-Chief of the E I L R
for 2013-2014 and a 2014 J.D. candidate at Emory University School of Law.
He has worked for the Supreme Court of Georgia in Atlanta, the United States
Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Pike Law Firm in
Decatur, Georgia. Before law school, Alex received a Master’s Degree in Art
History from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas (2011) and his
Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Archaeology from Princeton University (2009).
F. E. Guerra-Pujol is a law professor, a member of the American Association
for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and a father of four. His work has
been published in legal journals across the United States, Europe, Australia,
India, and the Caribbean. When he is not researching the formal properties of
conict and cooperation, Professor Guerra-Pujol devotes his time to his family
and to the study of probability, technology, and the legal process. He also blogs
regularly at priorprobability.com.
Samuel T. Kilb is a third-year law student at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law,
where he serves as Acquisitions Editor of the C A  E
L J. He has focused his studies on intellectual property, sports, and
media law. He received his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Stony Brook
University in 2012.
Min Kyung Lee is a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and candidate for Juris Doctor at
Columbia Law School in 2014. She is currently serving as a research assistant for
the Center for Korean Legal Studies and president for a student group, Society
for Korean Legal Studies, at Columbia. She is expected to receive Parker School
Recognition of Achievement in International and Comparative Law upon her
receipt of the Juris Doctor degree.
Matthew Kenichi Toyama earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University, School
of Law in 2014, as a Public International Law Scholar with Honors. He studied
