NOTES ON CONTRIBUTORS
Ali Alhusainan is an Assistant Law Professor at Kuwait University,
School of Law. Alhusainan earns a B.A. degree in Security Management
from Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences (2004), an LLB.
from Kuwait University School of Law (2009), an M.A. degree in Private
Law from Kuwait University School of Law (2013), an LLM. from Case
Western Reserve University School of Law (2015); and an S.J.D. degree
from Case Western Reserve University School of Law (2018). Prior to
his academic position, Alhusainan is a former Member & the Secretary
of the Board of Directors of the National Sports Arbitration Tribunal.
Ahmad Ali Alkhudhair holds a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.) from Kuwait
University, a Master of Laws (L.L.M.) from Université de Strasbourg,
and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) from Université de Strasbourg. He serves
as an Assistant Professor of Civil and Commercial Procedural Law
at the Faculty of Law, Kuwait University. Dr. Alkhudhair possesses
substantial practice-based expertise in draing legal opinions and
formulating a diverse array of legislative documents, including
decisions, regulations, circulars, and laws, owing to his extensive
experience as an investigator at the Ministry of Interior of Kuwait. In
addition to his academic responsibilities, he has provided counsel to
several prominent government agencies in Kuwait. Furthermore, he has
actively contributed to the development and eective implementation
of various legal strategies aimed at enhancing the legal status of multiple
governmental entities.
John Mukum Mbaku is a Brady Presidential Distinguished Professor
of Economics and John S. Hinckley Fellow at Weber State University.
He is also a nonresident senior fellow at e Brookings Institution in
Washington, D.C., and an attorney and counselor at law, licensed to
practice in the Supreme Court of the State of Utah, the U.S. District Court
for the District of Utah, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He received his
PhD in economics from the University of Georgia and his juris doctor
in law and graduate certicate in natural resources and environmental
law from the S. J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. He
is a resource person for the Kenya-based African Economic Research
Consortium (AERC) and the Chair of the Program Committee of the
AERC. Mbaku also holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Berry
