Mufti Rules to Hold Friday Prayers in Kyrgyz and Russian Languages Only

AKIPRESS.COM - Friday prayers from 13:00 to 13:30 must be conducted in Kyrgyz language or Russian if necessary, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan said.

The corresponding order was signed by Mufti of Kyrgyzstan Maksatbek azhy Toktomushev on March 6.But the awareness raising campaigns in mosques by spiritual representatives may be done in other languages as before, the statement said.
