El nuevo informe de la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA) y el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), presentado hoy, destaca los avances en la región en materia de ciberseguridad, aunque persisten brechas estructurales en materia de recursos, desarrollo de talento y coordinación intersectorial que continúan exponiendo a la región a un entorno de amenazas digitales cada vez más complejo.
El “Informe de Ciberseguridad 2025: desafíos de vulnerabilidad y madurez para cerrar brechas en América Latina y el Caribe” -solo disponible en inglés- ofrece la evaluación más completa realizada hasta la fecha sobre el nivel de madurez en ciberseguridad de 30 países de la región.
Elaborado por la OEA, el BID y con la colaboración del Global Cyber Security Capacity Centre (GCSCC) de la Universidad de Oxford, el estudio analiza casi una década de evolución y permite comparar avances entre países y a lo largo del tiempo mediante el Modelo de Madurez de Capacidades en Ciberseguridad para Naciones (CMM).
