as the New Editor!
e IMF and Palgrave Macm illan are pleased to announce
the appointment of Linda Tesar as the new editor of the IMF
Economic Review.
In addition to her position as Professor of Economics in t he
Department of Economics at the Universit y of Michigan, Linda
is also a research as sociate at the National Bureau of Economic
Research and has been a v isitor in the Research Departments
of the International Monetar y Fund, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System ,
and the Federal Reser ve Bank in Minneapolis. She has a lso served on the Academic Advi-
sory Council to t he Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and a s senior macroeconomist on the
Council of Economic Advisers . Linda’s research focuses on issues i n international nance,
with part icular interests in the international t ransmission of business cycles and sca l
policy, the benets of global risk sha ring, capital ows to emerging markets, i nternational
tax competition, and t he impact of exchange rate exposure.
IMF Economic Review i s the ocial research journal of the IM F and is one of the leading
