Dispute Resolution Insider - Eighth Edition

Welcome to the 8th edition of the DRInsider, the quarterly Newsletter of the Wolf Theiss Dispute Resolution Practice Group. We are happy to provide you with interesting news covering the various CEE/SEE jurisdictions in which we practice.

In our previous issue, our Ljubljana office gave you an overview of the implementation of the EU Damages Directive in Slovenia. Our colleagues from the Warsaw office explore this subject from a different angle and focus on the limitation periods in Poland under this Directive.

The last issue also outlined recent developments under Romanian criminal law and we continue to observe these controversial changes. From the start of 2017, the provisions regarding conflict of interest have generated significant debates and even protest. As announced by representatives of the Romanian government, further far-reaching changes are expected and our colleagues from Bucharest will keep an eye on these developments.
