Having regard to the formal declarations accepting a friendly settlement of the case,

Having deliberated, decides as follows:

FACTS AND PROCEDURE

The applicant, Mr Ante Bešlić, is a Croatian national, who was born in 1946 and lives in Dugi Rat. He was represented before the Court by Ms S. Marohnić, a lawyer practising in Osijek.

The Croatian Government (“the Government”) were represented by their Agent, Ms Š. Stažnik.

The applicant complained under Article 6 § 1 of the Convention about the excessive length of enforcement proceedings.

On 20 January 2015 and 9 March 2015 the Court received friendly settlement declarations signed by the parties under which the applicant agreed to waive any further claims against Croatia in respect of the facts giving rise to this application against an undertaking by the Government to pay him 4,650 euros to cover any non-pecuniary damage as well as costs and expenses, which will be converted into Croatian kunas at the rate applicable on the date of payment, and will be free of any taxes that may be applicable.
