Abstract

This paper discussed the problem of governance in the technical education and vocational

training system (TEVT) in Palestine The result from the absence of a unified administrative

body. It also reviewed the national efforts that have been made since the establishment of

the Palestinian Authority in an attempt to reform and develop the TEVT system. TEVT aims

to train students in the skills and competencies that are necessary for the development

of the Palestinian society, and to respond to the needs of the labour market. The paper
