It has long been known as a criminological fact that crime is an urban phenomenon. Because of the above, CPTED (crime prevention through environmental design) is going to be appreciated, which has changed in the last 20 years. CPTED is not only situational crime prevention method any more, but it is social too, because we change not only the environment, but we also try to change the behaviour and attitude of people.
